LEVEL 1-3 Months (36 Hours) YELLOW
BELT
Identify the 4 ranges
Basic strikes and applications
-Jab, Cross, Hook, Uppercut, Horizontal Elbows, Long Knees,
Switch Knees, Body Kicks, Teep Kicks.-
Fundamentals, basic footwork
Conditioning- 50 push ups, 50 squats, 50 sit ups
2 (2 min) rounds Thai pads with instructor consisting of all
basic strikes and applications Study history, 2500 word essay on
Thai boxing

LEVEL 2- 9 Months (108 Hours) 1 Year total
BLUE BELT
In addition to the above required is the following
Increase endurance
Footwork variations, shadow boxing, fundamental combos,
Identify targets
Hand Positioning Striking variations
-Overhand Right, Down Elbow, Up Elbow, Angle Elbow, Spear
Elbow, Angle Knees, Clinch Knees, Jump Knees, Wall Knees, Leg Kicks,
Head Kicks.
Basic defense and counters against punches and kicks
2 one-hour private sessions with Instructor prior to testing
Conditioning- 100 push ups, 100 squats, 100 sit-ups
2 (3 min) rounds of pad holding for training partner
2 (3 min) rounds of kick sparring with training partner
Study vocabulary (will be provided)

RED BELT
In addition to the above required is the following.

Increase power and speed, skill and endurance, fluid combos
Advanced Techniques
-Spin Elbows, Flying Knee and Elbow, Short Kicks, Hop Kicks
Understand energy, relaxation
Increase knowledge of strategy, interplay of ranges
Advanced combinations
Defense and counters
Conditioning- 100 push ups, 150 squats, 150 sit-ups 5 (3 min)
